What Usually Happens
When a HighLevel tracking number forwards to an iPhone with the default 20–30 second timeout, Apple iOS 18+ Live Voicemail answers the call on the device at 18 seconds. The carrier reports the call as 'Answered' to HighLevel, so Missed-Call Text-Back never runs.
How We Fix It in HighLevel
Change two settings on every forwarded HighLevel number: drop the Incoming Call Timeout to 15 seconds so HighLevel pulls the call back before iOS picks up at 18 seconds, and enable Call Whisper so iOS voicemail cannot press 1 to bridge the call.
